St. Anthony's Parish has a rich and diverse history and background. The parish was established to serve the needs of the Portuguese community that developed around it due to increased immigration. Today many of those people have moved out of the neighborhood, but the parish still serves the needs of the Portuguese American families of the Greater Lowell area. |
